My favorite author and how do you get a traditional publisher to give you a chance?
My favorite author is P.D. James. I love her character of Adam Dagliesh and I enjoy reading about England and the many places in which her books take place. I enjoy the colorful descriptions and the many different webs that she weaves in order to make sure that the reader does not figure out who the murderer is until the very end of the book. What I really love is that she does not use any profanity in her books. I think that she gets the point across with style, class and flair. I hope that I can do the same and become someones' favorite children's author.

I like P.D. James too. But I have too many favorites to name just one. Of course, I love her books being set in England - they take me back to my roots.
I wish you had an answer to the traditional publisher question.
