what kind of return have you seen on your book? Did you go through a traditional 'agent' or did you tackle this on your own. I published through AuthorHouse and I'm curious as to your route.

I did not go through a traditional agent, I did have several offers from traditional publishers. I chose to keep the rights to my work, and I really did not mind the extra work. I self published thru Lulu.com. So far the book is doing pretty well. I have learned a lot through the whole experience.

I didn't want others in charge of my story either. My is doing well, I am enjoying myself, others enjoy the story and it is spreading through word of mouth. My marketing campaign is well underway so we shall see. The second book in the series is being edited now and I hope to have it out this fall.
