- About Me
- I have been a black-doll enthusiast with a focus on vintage to modern black dolls of all genres for 20+ years. I enjoy collecting, researching, writing about, and discussing black dolls with others who share my interest. Black dolls are my passion.
I also enjoy reading African American literature and history. Reading to my grandchildren is also an enjoyable pasttime for me.
- My Published Books or Favorite Books
- I have written two full-color, black doll reference books: The Definitive Guide to Collecting Black Dolls (2003) and Black Dolls: A Comprehensive Guide to Celebrating, Collecting, and Experiencing the Passion (2008). The first title is out of print; however, autographed copies are still available. My newly published, second title is available via my website. I am also a free-lance writer with articles frequently published in Doll Castle News. Other articles have been published in UFDC's DOLL NEWS, Winter 2008 and Contemporary Doll Collector, January 2009. Another of my articles will appear in Dolls Magazine in February 2009.

I have a new fictional novel, The Black College Sabbatical - Fall Qtr. A trilogy series chronicling the trials, tribulations & triumphs of 4 girls during their first year attending a historically black college. While each girl has her own separate set of "ISSUES", a resident Guadian Angel is present and on a mission to protect. The Angel challenges the reader to figure out which girl on the quest to womanhood, needs his help most. The sequel novel will be out in March.
