- Elizabeth Bennett grew up in the state of South Carolina. She is a 1995 graduate of Clemson University with a M.Ed in Guidance and Counseling Services. She worked in the agency setting with children and adults for six years. Since 1995, she has been working on Peer Abuse through observational research and theory development. Through speaking engagements, talk radio, newspaper, internet and television, she has been able to educate others on Peer Abuse in the USA and Canada. Currently, she is listed with Who's Who and has been recognized as one of the Great Women Of The 21st Century by The American Biographical Institute.

Peer Abuse Know More! Bullying From A Psychological Perspective takes the problem of bullying to a whole other dimension. As bullying has been a problem since the beginning of time, it has been only recently that society has started to learn about the dangers of it in the schools and the workplace. The book begins with a history and update on recent statistics on bullying today. The different types of bullying in adults and children are discussed along with stories shared by those who have lived this nightmare. Also, we learn of the term "Peer Abuse" and how to make the transition from the term bullying and what is behind a name. Plus, for the first time ever, the Adult Survivor Of Peer Abuse is introduced and we learn of what these survivors live with on a daily basis.

Please Grow Up!
Well, after the Thanksgiving weekend I came back to a lot of stuff to catch up on. One article just stood out and could not let go of it. It was written in Canada but can assure you that this problem is alive and well in America. Adults should know better and grow up, learn to leave this garbage at the door. Facebook takes abuse seriously
Yesterday kicked off Anti-bullying Week and it goes from November 16-20 2009. One thing that is really being focused upon is the problem of cyber-bullying. As we all know, this is a problem that is out of control and at some point, someone needs to put a stop to it. The Mean Girls of Dallas

Revamping Zero Tolerance
As I was watching the local news last evening, I happened to see a segment on the issue of zero tolerance on there. Basically, local school districts were giving their policies and procedures as to how they handle this problem within their schools. The parents were complaining that zero tolerance was too strict and needed to be handled on a case to case basis.
