My first love is my YR series, "Cynthia's Attic." Three books have been published by Quake/Echelon Press, and a fourth is in the works.
Although the series is fantasy, it is based on my childhood growing up in Southern Indiana, and playing in the attic of my best friend, Cynthia.
I'm also co-author of the newly-released, women's humor book, "WOOF: Women Only Over Fifty," published by Echelon

I live in Southern California now, Westlake Village, just north of Los Angeles, but I once had a paper route in Villa Rica, so I'm familiar with the area. Beaufort Falls is a mythical town but it is based on area around Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I went to school long, long ago.
My family has been from Atlanta for a couple of generations, as you can see from the author's page on www.beaufortfalls.com, and I tell everyone, only half in jest, that my Mother was Scarlett O'Hara and my Father was John Wayne. I have hudreds of stories about the two of them, but the most fun is making up fiction stories that only reflect the atmosphere of small town Southern USA as I remember it. Like most Southern lit, it's satirical and, hopefully, lyrical, and nothing is what it seems.

- Grinning. I think I am a WWOF (Woman WAY over fifty)! My fifty ninth birthday is breathing down on me and my peripherals are giving me trouble. After my eye surgery I'm going to have to do something about this ringing in my ears. I'm pretending that I'm hearing crickets, 24/7.
