Talk about cool research--This past week, I went behinds the scenes at the Medieval Times Dinner Theater. I met with a well-known falconer, got "up close and personal" with a hybrid falcon and watched a falcon training session.
All of this was research for my next book, The Dragon's Heart, the sequel to Dragonstone. One very important "character" is a peregrine falcon named Terrwyn--the heroine's faithful companion.
I am so excited to bring this added dimention to my writing.
