- I was born in Perth, Scotland in 1957 and spent my teenage years in a psychiatric unit, about which I wrote in my book "The Madhouse of Love" at the age of 17 from personal experience.
I first published "The Madhouse of Love" myself in 1993 under the imprint Tetrahedron Books and it received many favourable reviews in the small press scene.
It has now been re-published by Chipmunkapublishing, the leading mental health publisher, edited by Jason Pegler, author of "A Can of Madness".
I spent much of my life living and working in Europe and am now doing a computer course at Redhall Walled Garden, a mental health centre run by SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) in Edinburgh.
