- I wrote my first essay in 1978 for a local newspaper. I was in high school. Now almost 28 years later I write for the same paper in their Reading Corner. However, I started writing when I was about 10 or 11 years old, with letters and journaling. I live in Florissant, Mo with my husband and college age daughter.

PS. I did tell you my mom passed Christmas 2006 right? She had leukemia. I wasn't sure if you'd heard.
I have a new fictional novel, The Black College Sabbatical - Fall Qtr. A trilogy series chronicling the trials, tribulations & triumphs of 4 girls during their first year attending a historically black college. While each girl has her own separate set of "ISSUES", a resident Guadian Angel is present and on a mission to protect. The Angel challenges the reader to figure out which girl on the quest to womanhood, needs his help most. The sequel novel will be out in March.
