Kaleidoscope Memories is a heart-warming collection of childhood memories written by three sisters which gave me a good feeling that I found refreshing. It is uplifting, amusing and light-hearted. I liked peeking in on this family with six kids. Parents could certainly learn some tips from these wonderful parents who were strict, but not mean and responsible but also fun loving. Armed With God's Power by Nora White

This book is about how God helped Nora through very difficult situations in her life including, depression, divorce, domestic violence, and losing a husband to cancer. She tells an amazing story of how God spoke to her and brought her through some terrible times. I couldn't put this one down because I was anxious to see what happened next. It certainly gives hope to anyone in similar situations. She is an example of a woman with great faith. I would recommend this book to any woman. Continue

This is a great little handbook for anyone considering starting up a business and being self-employed. It gives warnings about things people should be aware of before taking the plunge, making it very clear that it takes long hours and lots of work to be successful in running a profitable business and that it must be something you are passionate about.
