"The plot is a complicated page-turner that keeps the book in your hand until the very last word is read. The reason? The exquisite writing style. As with his first book, Davis writes with a sense of knowledge and insight... I honestly believe that the two stories I've read by Davis are as good (possibly verging better in a romantics opinion) than those of some of today's great fiction writers."
