I'd like to introduce myself to the Book and AuthorEvent Center blog with my top seller,
Goodnight Robinson: A Tale of Love Across Time.
As an historic interpreter, I have a tendency to daydream about 'what if' a little bit more than your average person. This novel was a direct result of that. What if? What if we could change the past?
Should we?
Phoebe Greenway never imagined when she landed her dream job as an historic interpreter in an 1800's house in Ohio, that her fascination with one of the home’s former occupants would change her destiny. One stormy night while locking the museum, Phoebe is startled by a figure on the stair. Her pursuit of it teaches her the truth of the old adage, ‘Be careful what you wish for… You just might get it.’ Spanning one hundred and sixty years and the length and breadth of America,

Reviews:
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I became so interested in the characters, I had trouble putting the book down when I needed to sleep. As a historic interpreter myself, I really liked the idea of a story involving a historic person and a modern person who researches them and shares their story with others. I really loved the surprise ending! I am looking forward to other books by this engaging author.

I love time-travel stories, and this is no exception. Author Marla Fair has an eloquently-descriptive style that brings the reader into the story and the building tension carries us along to the very end. There's even some comic relief that makes the readers smile. The characters are very believable, and we come to care very much about them. I enjoyed this book very much.
