I just received the most beautifully worded review from Long and Short Reviews. The reviewer, Camellia, "got" my hero and heroine. She understood their emotions; their conflicts.
She ended the review with:
Heart of Stone, well-crafted and smooth flowing, pulls the reader into the Texas hill country in the heat of summer to participate in the ‘gorgeous”, blue-eyed Stone’s and the feisty, very-pregnant Amber’s special story—a love story that reminds one why reading romance is good for emotional well-being.
Long and Short Reviews is having a contest this weekend, May 9 & 10, for you to vote for whichever book or story sounds like the best read based on their reviews. Details will be up on Saturday, May 9, at:

Thank you, Camellia and Long and Short Reviews for bringing my week to such a positive and heart-warming ending! What a wonderful Mother's Day gift.
